Our first experience at RacquetX was nothing short of amazing. As a company built to serve racquet and fitness clubs, clubcloud found itself right at home in the energy and innovation of this global gathering. From the moment we arrived, it was clear—racquet sports are not only alive and well, they’re booming.

The energy surrounding padel was especially electrifying. The sport has clearly taken over the hearts (and courts) of Miami, and it’s only a matter of time before other U.S. cities follow. With its social format, fast-paced rallies, and spectator appeal, padel has all the ingredients for rapid national expansion. The growth is happening and it’s just getting started.

Pickleball continues its rapid rise as well. New courts are being built daily, and clubs are scrambling to keep up with demand. Everywhere we looked, we saw conversations around programming, tournaments, and how to better serve an expanding and enthusiastic player base.

Clubs across the board, whether tennis, padel, or pickleball, are looking for smarter technology solutions. They’re adding coach-driven clinics, expanding their pro shops, introducing food and beverage offerings, renting out space, and offering more services than ever. They need tools that keep up. At clubcloud, we’re building exactly that: a platform that supports the full club experience, not just court bookings.

One standout theme at RacquetX was the growing importance of on-court video. Platforms like PlaySight are leading the way in helping clubs capture key moments, improve player performance, and fuel off-court engagement through video content. It’s becoming an essential part of the racquet sport experience.

Interestingly, despite tennis still leading the U.S. in total players, its presence at RacquetX felt relatively small. In contrast, padel and pickleball dominated the conversation. That said, the overall excitement across all racquet sports was palpable. Whether you’re a club owner, coach, vendor, or fan, RacquetX has managed, within just two years, to create a true festival for the racquet industry, and it’s only getting better.

We’re already looking forward to next year.
