As racquet sports facilities evolve, many clubs are making the most of their space by offering multiple court types within the same footprint. Managing these multi-use areas can be a challenge, but clubcloud™’s new Linked Locations feature simplifies the process by automatically handling scheduling conflicts.

With Linked Locations, facilities can connect different court types that share the same physical space. For example, a tennis court that has four pickleball courts painted on it can be linked so that when one court is booked, the system automatically adjusts availability. If the full tennis court is reserved, all four pickleball courts are blocked off. Conversely, if just one pickleball court is booked, the tennis court is made unavailable while the remaining three pickleball courts remain open.

To prevent double bookings, clubcloud™ automatically places a “blocked” event on affected courts, ensuring that members and instructors see accurate availability in the system. If an event is canceled, the system reopens linked locations unless another reservation is still active, making it easy to maximize court usage without manual adjustments.

This feature is particularly useful for clubs that take a multipurpose approach to their space, whether it’s using tennis courts for pickleball, converting racquetball courts for wallyball, or setting up cornhole on pickleball courts. By automating availability and blocking, Linked Locations helps clubs streamline their operations and make the most of their facilities effortlessly.
